(2024 April Edition)
In 2001, I came to Japan to study abroad when I was 23 years old. After six years of studying abroad, I worked in Japan and started my own business in April 2010. Looking back (as of April 2024), it has already been 24 years since I came to Japan. Japan is my second home.
My country, Myanmar, has been in a very difficult situation since February 2021. Such hardships have been repeated many times in Myanmar over the past 70 years. I believe the way to eradicate this dilemma is to raise the “human development level” of the people of Myanmar. On the other hand, since 2021, many young people from Myanmar have been coming to Japan in search of work and study opportunities. A distinctive feature of young people in Myanmar is that they have the advantage of being able to learn foreign languages easily. Furthermore, the grammar of Burmese, the native language of the Myanmar people, is almost the same as that of Japanese, so it is easy to master Japanese in a short period of time. We support young people from Myanmar who have these strengths and ambition to build their careers in Japanese workplaces and become an asset to companies. For that, we have been providing online learning and study abroad services for Myanmar people since August 2021. At the same time, in order to expand employment opportunities for young people from Myanmar in Japan, we provide services to introduce Myanmar talent to corporate clients and consulting services to improve employee retention rates.
We will support Japanese and Myanmar people so that they can work happily together in Japanese workplaces, demonstrate their capabilities, and contribute to the company. That will be Myanmar’s brainpower acquisition. And the young people of Myanmar will become fans of Japan, and countless bridges will be built between the two countries. Myanmar will undoubtedly enter a period of reconstruction and recovery in a few years. At that time, young Myanmar people who are acquiring intellectual talent in Japan will play various roles in the reconstruction and revitalization of their homeland together with Japanese companies. Our company has this vision for Myanmar’s human resources five to ten years from now. I believe that this is in the medium to long-term interests of both Japan and Myanmar.
Thank you for your proactive cooperation.
